The Wedding Ceremony for Kristoffer Aaron Hallmark McGuffey and Michaela (Kaela) Elaine Chandler - McGuffey

The wedding ceremony took place on May 25th, 2002 at 7PM. The Church was the First Baptist Church downtown Austin Texas.

Dr. Gary Gramling performed the ceremony beautifully and everything went as planned with no problems.

After the candle lighters (Steven McGuffey, Ashley McGuffey and Scott Yoakum) entered and lit the main candles in the sanctuary, the mothers were ushered in by their husbands and then the bride and groom's mothers (Laura Chandler and Anita McGuffey) lit the two sides of the three candle unity candle.

Boadicea by Enya started to play on the booming speakers in the sanctuary as the bridesmaids entered. Then the Minister (Dr. Gramling) the groom (Kristoffer Aaron), his best man (Bo) and the groomsmen (Ben, Mike and Aaron) all entered and took their place at the front.

The ring bearer (Devan Yoakum) then entered with the flower girl (Emily Martin) proceeding the vision of elegance and beauty that was the Bride - Michaela Elaine Chandler.

After the father of the bride (John Chandler) gave his daughter away, we had a prayer led by Dr. Gramling. He gave a short message and then we had the special song "The Lord's Prayer" sung extraordinarily by the groom's father (Jerry McGuffey). After the song, we exchanged our vows and then we lit the unity candle with a piano rendition of "Can't Help Falling in Love" playing in the background.

We then exchanged our rings and after Dr. Gramling pronounced us man and wife, we lovingly kissed and then the wedding party exited the sanctuary with applause and tears erupting from our friends and family that were in attendance.

We were rushed into a small room to have a few moments by ourselves to let everything sink in while the rest of the wedding party and the people in attendance went on to the reception site at Onion Creek Country Club.
